How I Can Help
A large part of my practice is dedicated to providing assistance and counsel to those who have suffered amputations by helping them get access to the right people and facilities. I lost my Iimbs due to the failure to diagnose meningitis, resulting in sepsis. Since then, I’ve dedicated my career to preventing medical error and supporting amputees and survivors of meningitis and sepsis. I can analyze healthcare-related problems and I have the resources to step in and take action when needed.
Juris Doctor, John Marshall Law School, 1991
BS, University of Kansas, 1988
Why I Became a Professional Healthcare Advocate
I was getting calls from lots of people who had bad experiences in the healthcare system. But most bad medical experiences don’t warrant a lawsuit so I found myself trying to find other ways to help. I became affiliated with hospitals, caregivers, advocates and amputee groups to ensure that I could provide answers and resources both in and out of the court system.
